haiz...two weeks more to Aidilfitri and there's a lot to be done...
1- Tidy up loose ends
2- Baking
3- Baking
4- Baking
HAHAHA...lots of baking to be done..just finished baking pineapple tarts...haha...I've posted an invitation in the class blog so hopefully there will be visitors this year...lots and lots of visitors haha....unlike last year, which was super quiet..
hmmm...I really miss my best friends haiz...so sad one is in Aust..the other is also pretty occupied with stuffs....well nvm..still I wish them all the best..!You are always remembered!
Right, I really feel like dozing off as soon as the cookies are cooled..hmmm..how long will that be ahhh??heeehee...nvm...shall wait patiently..meanwhile I shall watch tv..or compile songs..

HAHAAH!!!!YESH!My donut turns out to be superbly beautiful, soft and yummy...thnx to the recipe book...I thought of giving some to my aunt but she stays too far away and I'm soo lazy to travel..heehee...
okies..here's the recipe in case anyone of you wants to try or for culinary enthusiasts..
Ingredients(A):
300g bread flour
200g plain flour
80g caster sugar
10g yeast
5g salt
20g milk powder
Ingredients(B):
230ml water + 1 grade B egg(usually the ones used for baking cakes)
Ingredient(C):
40g Shortening(for vegetarians vegetable shortening can be used, the taste is as yummy)
For coating:
Caster sugar/icing sugar/cooking choc
Steps:
1)Using a mixer (the hook tool), combine (A) and mix well.
2)Add (B) slowly, and let the mixer mix it till it becomes a sticky dough
3)Add in (C). This helps to lubricate the dough so that it won't be so sticky and difficult to manage.
4) Leave it to stand for 30 mins until it doubles in size.
5) The dough will become soft n smooth. Roll dough 1cm thick and cut using doughnut cutter. Arrange the doughnuts neatly on a tray and leave it to stand to allow it to rise for a second time. ( oops I forgot this step..no wonder mine are so cute and small :-S )
6) Deep-fry the doughnuts till golden brown and dredge with caster sugar.
You can get creative by using any sort of topping you like...as for me I love the snowy feeling on my doughnuts so I used sugar powder. Using a sieve I slowly release the powdered sugar on my doughnuts like the picture below:

Okies...haha from clockwise,
1-we met at Long John Silvers @ VIVOcity for a quick bite
2-then proceeded to the monorail station...haha...the new monorail quite short but the inside to me it's quite cozy..then we took a beach tram and went to Palawan beach..Alicia found a nice veranda for us to settle down and rest our tired legs
3-haha home cooked food refreshing to the throat...and satisfies our hungry stomach..hopefully u guys didn't get stomachache ah...hehe
4-John brought card games...we found this bomb game very interesting but sadly someone didn't do a quick revision by reading the instructions..so we are like half lost and I kept losing...haha..John u demoralized me for nothing u noe...I thot I was an idiot haha...
5-After boosting our energy, Kavidha suggested we have a small tournament..Making Sand Castle!..hahah...how to make sand castles without spades and buckets????I asked...her reply was Use your fingers and palms la..haha...
6-Our judge is Alicia Grp 1(Kavidha n Adeline) Grp 2 (John n Aishah)
7-So we zuo zuo zuo..then Alicia picked the winner (highlighted)heehee..eh u all still owe John and me a slurpee..we haven't got our prizes yet!
8-Sandball Fight!never heard of it but yes..tat was Kavidha's and John's idea...throw sand at each other...winner Vs loser?? I dunno maybe for the fun of it..
9-SAY CHEESE!!!nice group picture under a palm tree..John did climbed it..but then he shot a bonus question How Do I get down???hahah..great....at last he just plunged down...haha...I caught a nice video of him..shall spread it on YouTube..haaha
10-Haha!Then we all went back to VIVOcity and watched Ratatouille!haha..so fun!

wah!I'm so slow in updating my blog..huahah...anyways Congratulations to everyone who got their results and cleared everything...for those who didn't manage to..Dun Give Up! Keep Trying! Seek guidance and learn from ur mistakes..God acknowledges ur effort!Slowly but surely u can make it!JIA YOU!
haha...just wondering though..at this age of 18..haha I noe it's still a young age...anyway here's the story...I was very concerned abt my classmates xm results...
some wanted to change course so they need to clear everything in order to do so...some have put in alot of effort and they expect good results..some went through great sacrifices like loss of beauty, loss of precious sleep, loss of playing games, etc..so I asked them whether they made it...but I was pretty shocked "A" wasn't that willing to share..."A" was particularly nervous and secretive...but I knew "A" would do well because "A" is a model student who commits to his/her work..
I had to admit I was like that once..very secretive with my marks...especially if u get low marks...afraid to tell..but then later I realised that the more I do that, I'm actually forfeiting my self-esteem unneccessarily...It doesn't matter how well I perform....it's the effort I put in...how hard I tried to understand and grasp the concept of the subject...how much sacrifices I made..how much hardship I went through while sitting for my exams....marks/grade are just a prize to all mentioned earlier...
I dunno...this is just an opinion..but it seems pretty childish though...anyway...it's a matter of privacy...shall respect that....just curious...is it because they are afraid and ashamed that others are better than theirs...because they think xms are competitions..where intellectuals compete with one another?
...please...what we are doing is not to show off...we are learning so that we can help ourselves and others, with the right attitude n knowledge to survive in this harsh world...so that we won't be fooled by cunning burgers out there...
